Remember to ask a Grown-up for help.
What to do:
Step 1
Print out the pattern from the website. Cut it out on the dotted line and divide up the pieces between fabric one and fabric two. The pattern pieces can be enlarged using a photocopier if you want to make a bigger bear.
Step 2
Pin the pattern pieces onto the fabric and cut them out. You could also use chalk or a tailor's pencil to trace round the pattern and then cut it out.
Step 3
Assemble your panda to check you have all the pieces. Start with the arms, legs and ears.
Step 4
Pin together the backs and fronts of each arm, leg and ear with the right sides of the fabric together (inside out). Sew around the edge, but leave the tops open for stuffing as shown on the pattern.
Step 5
Turn the pieces inside out so that they're the right way around. Put some stuffing in the arms and legs and sew up the holes.
Step 6
Onto one side of the head, sew or glue the eyes in position as shown on the pattern and sew on the nose and mouth using the wool.
Step 7
Next, sew up the head. Pin the two sides of the head together.
To attach the ears, position the ears to line up as shown on the pattern and sew up the head seam. Turn the right way around and stuff. Sew up the hole.
Step 8
Sew the top halves of the body to the bottom halves of the body, front and back and then lay them together right sides in. Sew up the side seams as shown on the pattern leaving gaps for the arms, legs and head.
Step 9
Slip the arms and legs into the appropriate gaps in the body and pin in place. Sew arms and legs in.
Step 10
Stuff the body, then place the head into the gap left at the top of the body, pin in position and sew. You now have a finished bear!
