            To make the Base

    1. Tape together four large boxes so all the open ends are facing you (and the middle). Where the boxes join makes a hinge, a bit like opening a big book!

    2. To make the garden, tape scrunched newspaper all over the outside of the boxes, making an uneven surface.

    3. Cover the whole of the newspaper with papier mache (use a mix of PVA glue, water and strips of kitchen roll).

    4. Cover the newspaper with the gluey kitchen roll and leave to dry for about 2 days!

    5. When it’s dry, paint with lots of different green paints.

    6. For the flowers, scrunch up pieces of coloured tissue paper.

    7. Glue all over the outside of the home.

    8. To make the arch twist 3 coloured pipe cleaners together and stick amongst the flowers.
