Watch this video and have a go at planting seeds.

What to do:

Step 1

A hand adding soil to a plant pot

Take your flower pot and put some gravel in the bottom.

Step 2

Compost being added to a yellow plant pot

Put lots of compost on top of the gravel.

Step 3

A hand poking holes in the compost

Poke some little holes in the compost and put the seeds inside.

Step 4

A hand patting soil in a plant pot

Put a little bit of compost on top and pat it down gently.

Step 5

Water being sprinkled into a plant pot

Add some water on the top.

30 minutes This should take about 30 mins

You will need:

  • A flower pot
  • Compost
  • Gravel
  • Seeds
  • Some water
