Sea in a Box
Sea in a Box
Create an underwater world in a box.
What to do:
Gather together all the things that you need to make the Sea in a Box.
Take the plastic box and remove the lid. Using the brightly coloured scouring pad put the lid on top of this and draw around it with a felt tip pen. Now cut it out but be careful because scissors are sharp. Place this into the plastic box.
To make the sand take the scouring sponge and cut off the ends, remembering to be careful with the scissors. Then unravel it and lay it in the box. For the seaweed do the same thing with another scouring sponge. To make the flower take a red scouring sponge and pull it apart a little.
To make the octopus take the thin coloured sponge and with a felt tip pen of the same colour draw an octopus onto it. Give the octopus a tongue by drawing a tongue on a different coloured piece of sponge. Now cut the octopus and the tongue out. Stick the tongue on the octopus as well as the googly eyes with some PVA glue. Put the octopus in the box and then put the lid on the box.
You will need:
- A clear plastic box
- Brightly coloured scouring pads
- Some scouring sponges
- Thin coloured sponge
- Some scissors
- PVA glue
