Lighthouse

60 minutes This should take about 60 mins

You will need:

  • Shoe box
  • Black, white and blue paint
  • PVA glue and glue stick
  • Plastic dip tub
  • 2 small pie cases
  • Black lid
  • Scissors (adult use only)
  • Black marker
  • Red, white and orange A4 paper
  • Newspaper- one small sheet and some scrunched into balls
  • Plastic bottle
  • Cotton wool
  • 2 sponges
  • 2 mixing palettes

Remember to ask a Grown-up for help.

Part 1

Using the red piece of paper, ask a grown-up to help you cut out two horizontal strips. Using the glue, stick these red strips onto the white piece of paper, leaving a gap in between each strip to make a striped pattern. Using a marker pen, draw on some windows and a door in the centre of the paper.
