Bird Mobile
Make your own Bird Mobile.
This should take about 30 mins
You will need:
- Half a paper plate
- Yellow paint/crayon
- Glue or sticky tape
- Wool
- Feathers
- Four different coloured paper circles
- Coloured feathers
- Small round white Stickers
- Small orange triangles for beaks
Remember to ask a Grown-up for help.
What to do:
Step 1
Before you start, ask an adult to help you cut a paper plate in half. Take one half and colour it in yellow, using either paint or crayons. This will be the sun.
Step 2
You might need to ask an adult to help you with this next part too. Use a hole punch to make five holes in your yellow paper plate. One at the top, and four at the bottom.
Step 3
To make the birds, take your coloured paper circles and add a white sticker to each one. Then put a black dot in the centre of each sticker to make them into eyes. Now stick an orange triangle onto each one to make a beak.
Step 4
Finish the birds by adding feathers to the back of each one. Now, stick a piece of wool onto each bird with some sticky tape.
Step 5
Finally, thread the wool from each bird through a different hole in the bottom of your paper plate. Make sure you secure it with glue or sticky tape. Thread one last piece of wool into the hole at the top, and find a place to hang it!
