  • Sticky tape
  • A pair of scissors
  • A ruler
  • A pencil

Remember to ask a Grown-up for help.

Part 1

Cut out the special shapes. Stick orange shape ‘A’ onto the cardboard and cut out around it. You may want to ask an adult for help with the scissors. Make the strips for the springs of the mattress by drawing strips on a sheet of card. It doesn’t matter what width the strips are. When you’ve drawn them, cut them out with the scissors. It’s a good idea to put the sheet with the drawn lines onto another sheet of paper and cut. You can get lots of strips of card this way. 24 strips of paper are needed to make the springs.
