Pasta Robot

For the Pasta Robot, you will need:

  • One big box for the body
  • Two smaller thin boxes for the arms
  • An even smaller box for the head
  • PVA glue
  • Two small plastic yoghurt bottles
  • Buttons and a pipe cleaner
  • Silver paint (or grey paint and some glitter)
  • Pasta shapes
60 minutes

This should take about 60 minutes

  1. The large box with pasta stuck onto it, Step 1 1. Get your biggest box and cover it in glue. Do one side at a time and then stick pasta shapes onto it. Don’t glue pasta to the bottom of the box because that’s where the legs are going.
  2. The robot's legs bring stuck to the pasta covered box, Step 2 2. Once the pasta is dry, get the two small plastic bottles to make the legs. Dip the tops of the bottles in glue and press them onto the bottom of the box.
  3. The head and arms added to the robot's body, Step 3 3. Glue the other small boxes to the side of the large box to give the robot arms and use the smallest box for a head. Hold it together whilst it starts to dry.
  4. Painting the robot with silver paint, Step 4 4. Now paint it all over with silver paint and leave it to dry... again! If you can't find silver paint just paint your robot grey and add some glitter for a bit of sparkle.
