Make a collection on trees.
You will need:
- Modelling clay
- Pipe cleaners
- Pom poms
- Cardboard tube
- Crepe paper
- Cotton wool
Remember to ask a Grown-up for help.
What to do:
To make a fir tree ask an adult to help you cut out two tree shapes in cardboard. Then you can paint them green.
Ask an adult to cut two slots in the trees. One at the top and one at the bottom.
Push the two halves of the tree together to make a fir tree.
To make a weeping willow tree you will need some modelling clay and pipe cleaners.
Push the pipe cleaners into the clay and then bend them over. Now you have a weeping willow to join the fir tree in your forest.
To make a palm tree you will need a ping pong ball, tube, paint and sticky tape.
Paint the cardboard tube brown. Then ask an adult to cut some leaf shapes out of the crepe paper.
Stick the crepe paper leaves to the top of the tube and put some leaves pointing upwards on the top of the tree and place the ping pong ball on top to hold them in place.
To make an apple tree you will need a cardboard tube. Paint it brown and stuff cotton wool into one end of it.
Paint the cotton wool green, and then stick small red pom poms on to the cotton wool to be the apples.
To make a cherry tree then take some pipe cleaners and push them into a ball of clay. Then take some pink tissue paper, screw it up into a ball and stick it on to the pipe cleaners to be the cherry blossom.
Here are all the trees together.
