What to do:
Step 1
Cut a paper plate in half and cut a crescent out of each half to make a moon shape. Stick the rimmed edges together with glue. Cut a paper plate in half and cut a crescent out of each half to make a moon shape. Stick the rimmed edges together with glue. Use bottle tops on straws to make wheels and decorate it by painting it red with an orange zig-zag along the middle.
Step 2
To make the Tombliboos carriage, paint the two yoghurt pots a bluey, grey colour and stick them together at the rim. Then add the wheels - you need bottle tops and drinking straws cut to the right size to hold them together. Start decorating the carriage. Maybe use sponge painting for the windows and add some foil to make them shiny. Roll a ball of modelling dough. Wrap pipe cleaners around the base of a drinking straw and stick the straw into the modelling dough. Finish it off by putting a ping-pong ball on top.
Step 3
To make the Pontipines carriage, you need two little sweets boxes to stick together. Try using a triangular t-shirt shaped piece of card to make the roof. When you fold it together you end up with a 3D roof. Add a drinking straw to a disc of kitchen scourer and ping-pong ball to put on the top. Decorate it by drawing on the door and windows and using buttons for wheels.
Step 4
To make Upsy Daisy's carriage paint a toothpaste tube box blue. Add strips of purple card or paper to make the stripey exterior. Then add a door and windows by cutting orange card or paper into rectangles and sticking to the front.
For the roof add red pieces of cards and use the red caps that come from washing up bottles to make wheels. To make it look extra special pop the rest of the bottle top on the top of the carriage.
Step 5
For Igglepiggle's carriage, you need to glue a little pot that had glitter in it and a lid from a shampoo bottle together - they make the right shape for his carriage. Then paint his carriage yellow. Add some pipe cleaners - light pink and purple - and wind them round to make the spiral stripes. On top of that add a ping-pong ball with modelling clay. At the bottom stick on some wheels made from red buttons and add tiny windows so Igglepiggle can look out.
Step 6
Finally, link all the carriages of your Ninky Nonk together with red pipe cleaners!
