Uki

Discover more about nature and friendship by joining cute little Uki on some gentle, playful animated adventures.

Uki

This programme is about a small, yellow, animated creature called Uki. Little viewers are taken by the hand to discover the world through playful and endearing adventures.

Uki is neither male nor female and cannot talk, but conveys emotion through sounds, laughter and smiles. With a cheeky and enthusiastic nature, Uki will be familiar to parents and friends of toddlers everywhere!

The adventures take place against a green lush backdrop of trees, flowers, birds and insects. This world of nature provides the starting point for Uki's discoveries and many friends - the Flowers, Rabbit, Hedgehog, Turtle and Duck.

Uki is also watched over by 'guardians' Sun, Cloud and Moon. Children are encouraged to feel part of this world by Uki's waving and winking at the camera.

This is a playful and gentle show where viewers can learn from Uki about nature, friendship and sharing their first experiences of the world. Uki appears as part of the new series of 'Show Me Show Me'.

Read about the characters

Rabbit

Funny, excitable Rabbit just can't sit still! Uki is really attached to him, but at times Rabbit's bluster and excitement can all be a bit distracting for Uki.

Duck

Duck has a pretty high opinion of herself! She thinks she's especially clever because she can swim. She isn't at all impressed by the talents of her other friends and clearly believes she's a cut above the rest.

Turtle

Uki is very fond of Turtle. Turtle is the wisest of all Uki's friends. When he's with the others he's shy and keeps to himself, but at Uki's side, Turtle feels safe and shows us the wonders of nature.

Other characters

The Cheeky Flowers love to play hide-and-seek with Uki. They like teasing and hiding Uki's toys, but they always end up helping to find them again.

Hedgehog likes nothing more then a nice cuddle, which is a bit tricky when you're covered with prickles! She's kind, caring and would do anything for Uki who she adores unconditionally.
