Raa Raa is a noisy lion who drives his cubby buggy around the jingly jangly jungle looking for new adventures. His friends Topsy the giraffe, Crocky, Huffty the elephant, Zebby and Ooo Ooo the monkey are always on hand to help him find new and noisy things to do.

Raa Raa has been developed with expert advice from speech therapists to help children aged 2-4 develop their language. Narrated by Lorraine Kelly, Raa Raa uses the 'four Rs' - rhythm, rhyme, repetition and retelling - to engage children with the stories and help them establish effective communication skills.

Raa Raa

Raa Raa is a noisy lion who lives in the jingly jangly jungle. He likes going on adventures in his cubby buggy and is always looking for new and noisy things to do.

Zebby

Zebby is quiet but a very good listener. He likes nothing more than having a snooze but is always encouraged by Raa Raa to join him on his adventures.

Huffty

Huffty is a great singer and musician and loves to play the toot stick. He likes to drive his friends round the jingly jangly jungle in his train.

Other characters

Ooo Ooo is a prankster and loves to be a bit mischievous and joke around with his friends.

Topsy is the tallest and oldest friend in the jingly jangly jungle. He loves reading and has lots of books on his bookshelf. He is very good with words so, if one of his friends has a problem, he can always find a way to help in one of his books.

Crocky lives by the river and love to hop on his bouncing stick. He loves to help his friends with their adventures, even though they think he's a bit accident prone!
