Tiny and his Little Robot friends are pioneers, builders and architects of a brand new world. Together they have discovered something they didn't know they were looking for. Finding themselves abandoned on a metal scrap heap, they have become tiny alchemists, turning the junk they find around them into a worthwhile place they can call home. They have created a magical world - a metal dome with a sun, moon, trees and homes - using their skills, vision and imagination. It's a place full of fun, friendships and daily discovery.
Children will quickly get to know Tiny and his Little Robot friends as these expressive little robot characters have bags of personality. In the Little Robots' world (which is clock-powered) everything can be something and children are likely to be fascinated as they watch the team work together to turn the junk around them into somewhere to live. Friendship and doing things together are important to the Little Robots and each day they make great discoveries (of course, they often find that things don't quite go as they planned).
The storylines have an ideal way of lending themselves to further discussion concerning recycling of materials. Children often like to make their own creations out of old boxes and other recyclable materials and this can fuel their imagination and creativity.
