Raise money and get kids moving by helping them learn the dance moves to CBeebies Jump Up and Dance song

BBC Children in Need on CBeebies

If you’re stuck for ideas on how to fund raise for this year’s BBC Children in Need look no further than the CBeebies Jump Up and Dance song.

As a fund raising idea for BBC Children in Need CBeebies have come up with an idea that will get children moving and raising money by creating a catchy little tune that has its own dance! The idea is to get children at home and in schools or nurseries to stage a sponsored dance. Kids can learn the Jump Up and Dance song and dance routine to raise money through sponsorship or donations, once they have learnt the routine they can then put on a performance as part of the BBC Children in Need celebrations to showcase their new moves!

To help children get going we’ve got some print out step by step instructions showing CBeebies friends doing the moves and walking you through the dance step by step. Carrie, Sid and Pudsey have also done a special video to help you learn the moves so you've got no excuse not to Jump Up and Dance!

To get them started we’ve also got the special music video featuring Pudsey and loads of CBeebies friends including Cerrie, Sid, Katy, Alex, Andy, Timmy, Justin, Mr Bloom, ZingZillas, Bob the Builder, Little Charley Bear, Raa Raa, Rastamouse, Abney and Teal, Dipdap, Postman Pat, Teletubbies, Rosie & Raggles, Octonauts and Driver Dan.

Fundraising packs are available from the BBC Children in Need website. Ideas and resources for pre-school are available in the schools section. The BBC Children In Need website also has other fundraising ideas and more information on this year’s appeal.
