Each episode, Carrie and David show us how to put a song together - the words, the tune, the instruments - and perform it so we can all sing along.
Carrie and David Grant are ready, and the Pop Shop is open for business. Every day, a new customer arrives seeking a song - a song to make them happy, a celebration song, a song for a friend. Any kind of song you can think of! It's up to Carrie and David, and their faithful dog Riff, to create, play and perform a brand new song - with help from everyone at home, of course.
They're passionate about making music and having fun singing - both things that anyone of any age can do and enjoy, and that's what the Pop Shop is all about.
Every song is specially written for the Pop Shop by the Grants, and every song has something to say to the CBeebies audience, with themes like self-confidence, imagination, family, friendship and teamwork.
Carrie and David's Pop Shop website gives viewers the chance to listen to some of the great songs from the programme through a music player, and print out colouring-in activities.
