The philosophy of LazyTown is to motivate children and inspire them to live a healthy life. Using humour, music, high-quality production and strong values, it enables children to make positive choices for their physical and social well being.
With its mixture of music, movement, humour and interactivity, LazyTown has the ability to draw kids into a slightly exaggerated version of their own world.
In this fresh, cartoon-coloured town, they can't help but engage in the imaginative stories, relate to the characters that make them laugh and be amazed by a sporty superhero with an amazing ability to make even ordinary things exciting.
In the show, Stephanie (an optimistic eight year old with bright pink hair) comes to LazyTown and meets its zany mix of townspeople, including the world's laziest super-villain, Robbie Rotten. Fortunately for Stephanie, LazyTown is also watched over by Sportacus, an athletic, super-fit superhero who runs, jumps and flips his way across LazyTown while helping the inhabitants battle Robbie's latest lazy schemes.
