Introduction

This simple game allows your child to get creative by making a night-time trail in the sky for Yoko to follow. All they have to do is click on a colour and then use the mouse to draw a pattern amongst the stars. Then they can watch Yoko flying along the lines they created. Once Yoko has returned to his perch by the side of the cave, you can clear the screen and start again.

How to extend the fun

Have a go at making some shiny, silver stars together. Draw some star shapes on a piece of cardboard and cut them out. Your child can then help cover them in kitchen foil and mount them on a piece of black paper to create a night sky. Don't forget to add a nice bright moon. Alternatively, you could make a little hole at the top of each star, thread some cotton through and hang the stars up in their bedroom.

How to make a magic moment

Cuddle up together and sing 'Twinkle, twinkle, little star'. (Do the hand movements to the song if you know them.) Repeat several times. The perfect way to end the day and get your little one ready for the land of sleep...
