Tinkling tree

Introduction

This make allows your child to get creative and experiment with different shapes and textures. The task also helps to develop their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills as they squeeze the plasticine into shape, stick the ribbon/wool/paper around the twigs and attach the foil bells to the branches of the tree. It's quite a complicated task for small hands, so you'll need to give then plenty of encouragement and help out when they get stuck.

How to extend the magic

Once you've made your Tinkling Tree, why not cuddle up and enjoy a Fimbles song and story? Click through to the Song Time section and have a little sing along to 'Fun To Fimble'. Then click through to the Story Time section and choose one of the Fimbles stories to watch together. There are thirteen different tales to choose from.
