Introduction
This story will help to develop your child’s language and literacy skills, especially their listening skills. Watching it together is a great way of encouraging your child to enjoy books and the whole process of storytelling. The activity is also great for stimulating their imagination as they listen to the narrator tell the story of the three bears, a boy called Jack, a lost earring and a tasty blackberry pie!
How to extend the magic
Have some fun together going on your own treasure hunt around your home. The treasure could be a favourite toy, some coins, dressing-up jewellery or an edible treat. Leave a trail of clues or instructions (which you can read to your child) and see if your child can work out where the treasure is.
