Introduction
This simple make allows your child to experiment with rhythm and sound - and generally develop their understanding of what music is and what it feels like to create music. They will also be helping to perfect their fine motor skills as they help construct and decorate the tambourine.
How to extend the magic
Make up some musical sequences - you could clap, then your child could shake their tambourine twice and then you could clap again. Speed up the sequences, make up new ones and just have a giggle experimenting with sounds. Hum, sing, jump or dance around to the music you make!
