Introduction
This paper make will help develop your child's hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills too, as they fold the paper back and forth to create the stretchy ridged effect in the middle of the picture and then design and draw the front and back sections. Your child could have a go at making a stretchy bus, train or limo as well as the lorry. Let them experiment with the width of the ridges they create.
How to extend the magic
When you've made your stretchy vehicles pictures, you could have a go at making some stretchy animal pictures by drawing head and tail sections to go either side of the stretchy ridged part (which you could create from a round piece of paper). How about a mouse, a dog, a lion or a monkey?
