This creative make will help to develop your child's hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills as they carefully fold the tissue paper backwards and forwards and then separate the sheets out to create the daffodil. It's quite a complicated task for a young child, so you'll have to read the instructions and help them with the folding. Give your child plenty of encouragement and praise along the way to spur them on!
How to extend the magic
Why not make a bunch of these lovely tissue paper daffodils? You could stand them in a pot (with a little modelling clay in the bottom to push the pipe cleaners into). One final touch - give them a little squirt of perfume to make them smell nice!
