This creative make is great for developing your child's hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills as they glue and paint the old plastic bottles to transform them into skittles - and then scrunch, tape and paint the newspaper to make the space rock to knock over the skittles. It's quite a fiddly make for small hands, so you'll need to be on hand to help your child.
How to extend the magic
Once the space rock has dried, you're ready to have a game of space skittles. Your child can practise their counting skills by telling you how many skittles they knock over. The best of 10 goes can be crowned the Space Skittles Champion!
