This interactive animated story will help to develop your child’s language and literacy skills, as they watch and listen to the story and click on the ‘next’ button to turn the pages when prompted. Watching it together is a fun way of encouraging your child to enjoy books and the whole process of storytelling.
How to extend the magic
Your child could draw a picture of a scene out at sea or under the waves. They might want to include a submarine (as this story did). Your child could colour in their picture using paints, felt-tips or crayons – and they could use some other materials if they like (e.g. foil, tissue paper, felt, glitter). When they’ve finished their picture, you could display their nautical scene in the kitchen or up on their bedroom wall.
