Introduction
These Listen and Play activities have been designed to engage children and reward them for listening carefully to fun stories featuring Raa Raa and his friends.
Your child is encouraged to listen to the story and hit the space bar when they hear the special sound. This simple interaction makes a picture appear on screen. This reward will help to focus your child’s listening.
How to extend the fun
Print out a picture from the story for your child to colour in. Ask your child to tell you about their favourite character from the show. Encourage them to make the special sound from the story out loud. Try the other Listen and Play activities and discover more Raa Raa adventures, as well as stories based on some favourite nursery rhymes. How to make a magic moment
Sit with your child and let them take the lead. Try encouraging your child to let you know when they hear their favourite parts from the Listen and Play activity. Be aware –they just might want to listen and listen again to their favourite ones! That’s great for reinforcing listening skills.
