Introduction
This make is really three mini-makes - there is an airmail template (to make a paper plane), plus print-outs for Postman Pat notepaper and envelopes so your child can practise their writing skills. The make is a fun way of helping to develop your child's hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, as they have a go at all three mini-makes. Your child may need some help folding the paper plane and cutting out the envelope template.
How to extend the magic
Let your child write some messages (or draw some pictures) on the notepaper, put them in the envelopes, address and seal them up - and make some special deliveries around your house! They could post their mail to their toys or drop them outside different rooms. They'll have lots of fun being Pat's assistant for the day.
