Introduction
This game develops your child's artistic and imaginative skills - as well as their literacy skills - as they create their own moving picture story. There is also an option to create a story with words and pictures. The game allows your child to add different backgrounds, characters, objects and music - making it a really fun, interactive experience.
How to extend the fun
Your child could have a go at creating some more stories using a comic strip. They can use each box of the comic strip for a different scene. Grab some colouring pens and pencils, safety scissors and glue and print out the 'Comic Strip' from the Make & Colour section of the Jackanory Junior site. How to make a magic moment
Create a joint story together. You could either use the Picture Story game or just make it up as you go along. Choose your main character and away you go... When you have finished your story, give yourselves a pat on the back. Nice work!
