Ninky Nonk make

Introduction

Constructing this make is a great way of helping your child to develop their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills as they draw, cut, paint, decorate and stick a range of materials to create the Night Garden. They can experiment with different colours, shapes and textures along the way. It's a complicated task so you'll need to be on hand throughout to provide help and encouragement.

How to extend the magic

Click through to the Games section and have some fun trying out the In The Night Garden 'Jigsaw Puzzle Game'. Your child just has to click and drag each puzzle piece into the correct place (you might need to help them if they're still getting the hang of using a mouse). Then sit back and watch the scene magically come to life.
