Introduction
This game allows your child to get creative and use their imagination as they build their very own city using the buildings, objects and characters provided. Your child just has to use the mouse to drop their chosen items into the city grid, placing them wherever they like. While they're busy getting creative, they'll be mastering basic computer skills too.
How to extend the fun
Talk about all the different types of buildings and facilities you usually find in a city or town (eg, hospitals, offices blocks, shopping centres, museums, markets, cinemas, sports centres and parks). Explain how cities are different from villages and rural areas.
How to make a magic moment
Pretend you are in a city and on your way to a hospital. Have a role-play session with your child for a few minutes. You could play doctors and nurses. Ask your child to check your temperature and throat to make sure you're okay...
