This game allows your child to experiment with some unusual art techniques. Not only can they use crayons, pencils and paints, but they can also create pictures using glue, glitter, foil, feathers, shells, buttons and pieces of pasta! Magic paintbox games are great for stimulating their imagination and for developing their creative skills - and there's no cleaning up afterwards!
How to extend the fun
Check out the Mister Maker 'Make & Colour' section on the CBeebies website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/mistermaker/makes/series1makes. It's overflowing with ideas so there's bound to be something your child will want to make. Some are quite tricky, but others are pretty straightforward and won't require a trip to the craft shop.
How to make a magic moment
Create a Magic Paintbox picture together. It's a really fun activity and you'll have some giggles creating your work of art. Take it in turns to add some more unusual items such as baked beans and cake sprinkles!
