About the Let's Play Game

The Let’s Play game is a dressing-up game. There are a range of different costumes to try out and play in, including ballet dancer, chef, police officer, knight and cowboy.

Children can explore a variety of different costume combinations using the carousel at the bottom of the screen. They can mix and match the hats, tops and bottoms or try to match the hat to the correct top and bottom. The right combination will result in praise from Sid and Rebecca.

Players can also change the backgrounds to match the costume by clicking on the arrows at the edges of the screen.

Once children are happy with their selections, Sid asks you to “take a picture” by clicking on the camera button at the top right-hand side of the screen. Your child can then print the picture out or create another outfit.

There’s also a new webcam feature where your child can dress themselves in the outfits provided and then take a picture. To do this, you’ll need to print out a special ‘marker’ to use, and turn your webcam on. Your child will need your help to do this, but Sid and Rebecca will talk you thorough the process in an online video tutorial which you can find as soon as you click on the webcam option on the Let’s Play game menu.

If you are having problems printing the web cam marker, you can download it and print it out here
