Print out this template to help your child create a rangoli design for Diwali. They could trace over it or you could print several copies and they could stick them together to make a larger pattern. Your child can experiment with different colours to create their own special design.
How to extend the magic
Explain to your child that during the Hindu festival of Diwali, rangoli patterns are normally placed near the entrance to a house to welcome guests and the goddess Lakshmi.
