Introduction

This simple 'search and find' game will help develop your child's problem-solving skills as they hunt amongst the shelves for the hidden eggs. It will also help with their numeracy skills if they count the number of eggs they uncover as they play the game.

How to extend the fun

Why not have a little counting game. Explain to your child that Book Worm was hunting for seven eggs. Count from 1-7 with your child. See if they can point to seven different things in the room you are in.

How to make a magic moment

Have some fun playing this egg hunt game together. Shout out 'Yummy in my tummy!' and rub your tummies together when the Book Worm swallows each egg.
