Introduction
This game helps your child to learn more about the world around them - and it helps to develop their problem-solving skills. Your child has to work out a route through the forest by looking at a map. They also have to match up the correct animal to the footprint clues they find along the way.
How to extend the fun
You could carry on this activity by going outside for a walk yourselves. It doesn't have to be a ramble up a hill - your garden or local park is just as good a place for your child to explore and learn more about animals and nature.
How to make a magic moment
After your child's finished playing the game, why not go on a little bear hunt together with two of your child's favourite teddy bears (or soft toys). Let them lead the way and guide you. Who knows what you will see along the way. You might have to cross a river or two so put your wellies on!
