This animated interactive tale will help to develop your child’s language and literacy skills as they carefully watch and listen to the story and follow the instructions when prompted (you will probably need to read the instructions to your child).
The activity is also a fun way for your child to find out more about the world around them – in this case, they learn about Loch Ness and the myth of the friendly monster 'Nessie'.
How to extend the magic
Your child could draw a picture of Nessie. Encourage them to be as imaginative as they like - Nessie doesn't have to be green, she can be any colour and any shape they want!
They could use crayons, felt-tip pens or paints and stick on a variety of materials to decorate their work of art (eg glitter, foil, tissue paper). If they prefer they could create a model Nessie like the one Archie invented - there's a printable Nessie make you can click on at the end of the story.
