Little Red Tractor is based on the original stories by Colin Reeder and Peter Tye published in 1990.

Little Red Tractor is a role model for children aged between two and five, proving that in life you really don't have to be the biggest to be the best. The show's aesthetic and timeless themes i.e.. vehicles, farming, the countryside and animals appeal to both little boys and girls.

Each episode features the voice talents of Stephen Tompkinson (Drop The Dead Donkey, Ballykissangel) and Derek Griffiths (Playaway).
