The storyline in 'Brum' is extremely visual. This means that all of the action, adventures and comedy in the programmes are visually-based, allowing younger children to enjoy the programme too.

In each episode, Brum always comes to the rescue, either saving a falling statue, catching a falling rock or booting out the baddies.

The programmes often have 'naughty' people, but they are theatrical rather than frightening, and instantly identifiable to the child.
