Bits and Bobs are two puppets who, along with their wheeled machine, Trog, set out to investigate the world.

Throughout the programme, children are encouraged to answer questions posed by Bits and Bobs. There are great opportunities for children to develop problem-solving skills whilst thinking through answers.

Each episode follows the same format, allowing children to understand what is required of them and giving them time to engage in the process. It encourages children to actively respond rather than just sitting and passively viewing.

Bits and Bobs has its own page on the CBeebies website, where children can play Snap and Trug's Matching Game. They can also enjoy the Bits and Bobs pictures to print and colour in.
