  • We all arrive in the world with an ability to move.
  • Through dance, young children may develop a greater awareness of and control over different ways of moving and use actions expressively to convey a special meaning.
  • Boogie Beebies encourages young children to learn pop routines, whilst supporting their general learning and development inspired by the world around them.
  • Through physical activity, pre school children channel their energy and develop attention, balance and co-ordination.
  • Dance is a natural way for children to learn about their world and express their ideas, thoughts and feelings.
  • Physical activity enables young children to feel at home in their bodies, developing bodily control may lead to greater emotional control.
  • Dance provides an important opportunity to express oneself non-verbally without a pressure of 'getting it right'.
  • Boogie Beebies offers a fun approach to get young children dancing. It uses action words to infuse children's awareness of quality of movement, which enriches their basic physical skills.
  • See main article to help your child get the most from the Boogie Beebies show and for encouraging them to dance generally.
