Fimble Valley Base
Make a your own Fimble Valley and start by making the base.
This should take about 30 mins
You will need:
- Print-outs (2 pages)
- 4x middle sized boxes
- Circular yoghurt pot
- Mini-cereal box
- Cereal bar box
- Silver thread
- Egg boxes
- Green felt
- Kitchen roll
- Toilet roll
- Flour and water paste
- Brown pipe cleaners
- Sheets of coloured and silver paper
- Safety Scissors
- PVA glue
Remember to ask a Grown-up for help.
What to do:
Step 1
Tear one of the small sides and one of the long sides off the box, leaving a 3-sided box shape.
Step 2
Draw a wiggly shape along the top and base edges and squiggly archway shapes in the sides. Ask a grown-up to help you cut out the shapes with some safety scissors and remember to cover the surface in newspaper.
Step 3
Paint the two sides blue and then stick on green felt for grass on the base. You could also paint white fluffy clouds with cotton wool balls onto the blue as the sky!
Step 4
You will need to do this four times, to make four bases.
