Crepe Paper Rose

Crepe paper rose

Make your own crepe paper rose.

15 minutes This should take about 15 mins

You will need:

  • Different coloured tissue paper/crepe paper (A3 size if possible)
  • Long pipe cleaner

Remember to ask a Grown-up for help.

What to do:

Step 1

Crepe paper and pipe cleaners

Make sure you have two different colours of crepe paper and a coloured pipe cleaner ready.

Step 2

Folding crepe paper

Start by folding up one sheet of crepe paper, in a backwards and forwards motion, so that it ends up in one folded strip. Then repeat with the second sheet of crepe paper, and place one on top of the other.

Step 3

Pipe cleaner and crepe paper

Take your long pipe cleaner and tie it around the middle of the folded up crepe paper. Be sure that both ends of your pipe cleaner point in the same direction, as this will make the stem of your flower.

Step 4

Crepe paper rose

Now, separate all the sheets of paper and you can see it turning into a flower. Give the top of the pipe cleaner a twist to bring all the petals together.
