There are two ways you can see your birthdays on CBeebies:
- by sending a birthday card to be shown on TV on CBeebies or,
- by sending your birthday greeting to CBeebies Interactive TV (red button).
Showing Birthday Cards on CBeebies on TV
Whilst we try to show as many cards as we can, we receive more than we have time for, so be prepared to be disappointed. If you want your child get a video message from Chris that you watch ONLY on the website go to Birthday Time!
To have the best chance, please do the following:
- Send your card in to arrive four weeks before the birthday.
- Put the name and age of the child on the front of your birthday card.
- Put your message and the date of the birthday on the back, so personal information isn't shown on camera.
- Make sure your card is no bigger than A2 in size.
- Landscape style (as opposed to portrait) is easier to show on TV.
- If you include a photo, a head and shoulders shot works well but please make sure that there are no logos or anything identifiable on your child's clothes.
- If you include a TV character, please make sure that you only use CBeebies.

Weekdays on CBeebies Channel
8am after Numberjacks
10.25am and 1.55pm after Show Me Show Me
Weekends on CBeebies Channel
6.55am after Fimbles repeated at 12.55pm
10.05am after Mister Maker repeated at 4.05pm
Weekdays on BBC2 (repeat of Channel's 8am slot)
6.55am after Teletubbies
Weekends on BBC2
6.55am after Fimbles

You can also see your birthday greeting on CBeebies Interactive TV.
To see the Birthday messages on Interactive, press the red button whilst watching CBeebies. Choose Birthdays and use the Left and Right arrows to scroll between messages.
You can email your birthday message to: cbeebies.bdaystar@bbc.co.uk, writing 'Birthdays mm/dd' (with the child's birthday) in the subject field.
We'll always try to show as many birthday messages as we can, but we can't guarantee that every one will be shown. You can improve the chances of your message appearing by:
- Making sure the subject line of your email reads 'Birthdays mm/dd'.(If it doesn't, it's unlikely to appear at all.)
- Sending in your greeting at least a week before the big day.
- Including your child's name, age and who the message is from.
