Make a penguin from a square piece of paper.

30 minutes This should take about 30 mins

You will need:

What to do:

Step 1

Square piece of paper with the sides folded in

1. Fold your paper into a triangle to create a crease. Fold the top edges in to meet the crease.

Step 2

Dimond shape piece of paper

2. Fold in half along the crease away from you.

Step 3

Folding back the longer edge

3. Fold back and forward along line shown to make a deep crease, then open out the paper and push the tip down. Clsoe the paper at the same time so the tip folds over.

Step 4

Folding the corner over to form the beak

5. Fold the beak back once then back on itself.

Step 5

Folding the bottom of the triangle up

6. Fold back and forward along line shown to make a crease then tuck point up inside body.

Step 6

Folding the bottom of the triangle up again

7. Fold tips in to meet centre crease.

Step 7

The finished penguin

8. Draw an eye to complete your penguin.
