Expedition leaders Bruce Parry and Emma Jay are experts in taking groups of people off into the wilds. They have both led expeditions all over the world to places as different as the Arctic, Belize and Oman.

Bruce was a physical training instructor for the Royal Marines before becoming an expedition leader. When we met him at the London auditions he was really looking forward to meeting the Serious Desert team and seeing some great wildlife. He know presents the BBC Two series Tribe.

Emma says that the best thing "...apart from being in such wild places and seeing at close hand some amazing animals, is being with a group of people... watching people develop over the course of an expedition and achieve things they never thought possible."
