• What is a Helper?

  The Helpers

  A Helper is someone who works at CBBC HQ and runs the Messageboards! We make up new threads, plus run the Webchats and Live Stories.
  
  We're a friendly sort of folk and can mostly be found making up dance routines, drawing moustaches on posters of Justin Bieber, and eating cake. A lot of cake.
  
  By clicking on our profiles below, you can find out a little more about each of us.
  
  The Moderators (or 'Mods') work alongside us Helpers at CBBC HQ and check all your messages to make sure no cheeky ones that break the house rules get posted on the boards. Oh, and they prefer cookies to cake.

  Likes: Football especially the mighty Canaries - Norwich City! Long cycle rides down hills and along canals. Playing outside in the rain. Eating really fast and dancing like an idiot - not at the same time!

  Dislikes

  Dislikes: Hiccups that won't go away. Rice pudding. Going shopping with girls! Being tired. Get punctures on my bike.

  Habits

  Habits: I always pull the ring-pulls off my drink cans before I drink them. Messing about when I should be working. Making weird cooking concoctions like chocolate soup!

  Eats

  Eats: Crunchy roast potatoes. My best friend's food it's amazing - he was on Masterchef! My mum's beef casserole with mash potato. Macaroni cheese. Chocolate soup!!

  Dreams

  Dreams: To be king for a day, so that I could do what I want and not get in trouble!

  Likes: Jelly beans, daisies, sunshine, ginger cats, bedtime stories, ladybirds, cartoons, weird ice-cream flavours, travelling to exotic places, fancy dress and talking too much.

  Dislikes

  Dislikes: Seriousness, brussels sprouts, worms, scabs, custard skins, Mondays, uniforms and carrying heavy objects.

  Habits

  Habits: Picking scabs, playing with my hair, getting distracted, eating all the green sweets first, doodling and pouting in photographs.

  Eats

  Eats: Ice-cream, jelly beans, Japanese food, peanuts, mashed potato and tea in china cups.

  Dreams

  Dreams: About becoming a mermaid living in a giant oyster shell and making friends with all the fish.

  Likes: Playing guitar (although I can't do the B chord, it's too hard), doing three roly-polys in a row in the swimming pool, and those little pink chocolate pigs you get in the Pick 'n' Mix.

  Dislikes

  Dislikes: Raisins. URGH. Especially the secret ones that appear in food when you least expect them to.

  Habits

  Habits: Breaking into a lunge as I walk down the road...

  Eats

  Eats: CHOCOLATE. And veggie sausages. Though not together at the same time. That would be weird.

  Dreams

  Dreams: Of being a rockstar! But I have also been thinking recently that I would quite like to own a hamster.
