To make the frame extra secure, you can use some glue between the middle knot and the fabric.

Step-by-step 'Make Your Bat Kite' guide
Follow the steps below or print out the instructions.
Fold the fabric in half and draw half of your bat shape with a pencil. You may use plastic bags/ a tablecloth or paper for this – you decide!
Cut out the shape of your bat and unfold the fabric.
Put 2 bamboo/ dowel rods in a cross on top of your shape. Tie them securely together where they cross.
Tie the ends of the bamboo/ dowel rods onto the fabric.
