Find out how to make this colourful papier mache bracelet and style your friends!
Make a colourful wristband
Take a sheet of toilet roll and wrap it around a wooden skewer.
Mould the paper into a bead shape.
Then dip it in water and squeeze it out and shape again.
Repeat this stage until your skewer is full of beads, then leave them.
TIP: Leave your beads on the skewer to dry, to make sure there is a hole right through the middle.
Once your beads are dry, make a mix of 80% PVA glue and 20% water in a bowl.
Dip the beads, still on the skewer, into this the glue mix and leave them to dry. This will varnish and seal the beads.
Wait for the beads to dry, then decorate them using acrylic ink.
Once your beads are dry, take them off the skewer and thread them onto a piece of strong thread, long enough to wrap around your wrist.
Tie a knot in the end to form a circle and secure the beads.
Share your bracelets with friends and become BFFs!
