Cut your piece of paper in half so you have a rectangle.
Fold the bottom right corner down to the top edge. Crease down well and unfold.
Now fold the top right corner to the bottom edge. Crease down well and unfold.
Make a vertical mountain fold in the middle of the X.
Now collaspe the right side of the paper, using the creases you've made in the previous steps. You should now have a triangle shape on the right side. This can be a bit tricky, just make sure the sides are folded inwards.
Repeat steps 1 to 4 on the left of the paper. When completed, your paper should look like the image below.
Next, fold the top and bottom tips over to the right. Crease down well and unfold.
Pry the paper open slightly and make a squash fold by pressing paper flat to form a square. Do this on both sides.
Repeat the steps on the left side. When completed your paper should look like this.
Taking one of the squares, fold both sides to meet in the middle. Crease down well and unfold.
Pry the open slightly and squash folds by pressing paper flat.
Repeat steps 9 and 10 on the other 3 squares and your heart is very nearly finished! Your paper should now look like this.
Flip paper over and fold the top tip down to the bottom.
Make 3 small folds on either the side of the heart and at the bottom.
Turn paper over and your origami flower heart is complete!
