Make some Christmas biscuits that you can also use as Christmas tree decorations.
Add the flour, softened butter and
sugar to a bowl and mix to create the biscuit dough. Gradually add the milk to
bind the mixture, you may not need it all.
You need just enough to bind the
mixture, don't add too much or it will be too sticky to roll out.
Roll out the dough thinly, on a
Cut out Christmas shapes using a
biscuit cutter or a knife.
With a smaller cutter or knife
cut a hole in the centre of the biscuit and
remove this bit. Then place your biscuit
shapes on a baking tray.
TOP TIP: Put a hole in the top and thread
ribbon or thread through to create a
Crush the boiled sweets using
the rolling pin and then use the crushed
pieces to fill the holes in the centre of the biscuit.
TOP TIP: Put the boiled sweets inside a
food bag or tea towel to contain them!
