Get crafty with buttons and make some Christmas tree baubles to hang on your own Christmas tree.
You can replace the thread with thin wire if you have some at home. This will make you button tree slightly more stronger.
Cut a length of thread depending
on how big you would like your bauble to be. It will need to be twice as long
as you want as it needs to loop.
Select your buttons and
arrange in order of their size.
Start with the base of the
tree. Thread your string through your bead till it is in the middle.
Now start threading on your
buttons. Starting with the biggest button, pull one end of the string though
one button hole and pull the other end through the other hole.
Repeat step 4 with all your
buttons starting with the largest to smallest.
As an extra decoration you
can add another bead to the top of your tree to make it extra special.
When you have threaded your
last button or bead tie a knot to hold the buttons in place. Then tie
another knot further up your thread so you have a loop to hang it on your tree.
Now it is ready for you to
hang on your Christmas tree.
